Pacific Storm (Steel Monsters) is a game dedicated to the battles of the Pacific theater of military operations of World War II, combining the features of a global strategy, tactics and an arcade flight simulator. Playing for the armed forces of the United States or Imperial Japan, the player can take part in grandiose military operations carried out by the navy and air force. The game´s time frame is limited to the period from 1940 to 1948, over time the player can develop technologies, gain access to new weapons and even change the course of history. This game, which organically combines three genres (strategy, tactics, simulator), is characterized by great freedom of the player in making strategic and tactical decisions, as well as the ability to instantly "move into" one of the subordinate units and personally help their troops in combat. The depth and scale of the strategic mode, the elaboration of the tactical and the dynamics of the flight simulator as a whole make up the gameplay of "Steel Monsters".
