Darkness is the essence of evil. Some say that this is a manifestation of human fear and nightmares, others say that we are haunted by a wandering mass of damned souls. The origin of the darkness itself is unknown, but one thing is certain: we can contain it with the power of light and fire.


Get ready for huge tidal waves of Nightmares. Using internally developed SwarmTech technology allows the game to display more than 70,000 enemy units on the screen at the same time. These enemy legions work their way through seething fissures in the ground to reinforce the Veil.

Light up a rich, complex, procedurally generated map to bring back territory from The Veil. A dynamic fog of living death that hides enemies and drains the life from your troops. Holding the line against this horror is not for the faint of heart.

Borrowed from the roguelite genre, Rancor is a random calamity that is inflicted on the player every Night of the Dead, ruining the best plans. Conversely, if the Night of Death survived, you can choose between three randomly selected Blessings, enriching the experience and giving your army a much-needed edge.

Lead the attack against the night terrors with powerful and unique Heroes. Using special abilities gained by leveling up, these Heroes can play a key role in turning the tide of a desperate battle. But beware, the Nightmares have their own elite roaming champions that drop precious resources when killed, posing an extreme and constant threat to your expansion.
