In Codex of Victory, you have to go through an extended storyline campaign during which you will have to build and lead armies of combat robotic vehicles, tanks and helicopters into battle. The game is a mixture of strategy, real-time building and turn-based tactical combat. Travel between planets, fight and do whatever you can to stop the Augments.

The construction of the underground base, inspired by the best classics of the genre, takes place in real time. Find blueprints, build factories, laboratories, research centers, warehouses and hangars to prepare for the coming battles. Track enemy activity on the strategic map and choose a place for the next landing of your army.

Fight the enemy in turn-based battles on hexagonal maps. Choose the right units and their upgrades, use the terrain wisely and apply tactical thinking to achieve victory. As you progress through the campaign, you have to go through many story and random missions, get under your command more than 25 types of units, each of which can be customized using upgrades and modules.
