In this one of the deepest extensions in the history of Cities: Skylines, the industry is becoming a much more significant part of the game. Players can choose from four types of industrial areas with their own resources and unique factories. Well-managed industrial areas are improving and becoming more efficient. In addition to production chains, a new urban postal service and a cargo airport have emerged to facilitate the import and export of factory goods. FIVE new maps, new policies, new city services, new buildings (including mining enterprises, industrial buildings, storage facilities and unique factories) and more were added.

• Full cycle
Set up production chains from mining to processing, storage and production, and then transport goods to commercial areas or export them to other cities.

• Developed industry
Using a special tool, outline the industrial area and place specialized industrial buildings in it to create production chains from the extraction of raw materials to the production of the final product. Industrial areas are divided into four types depending on the natural resource that they process: agriculture, forestry, mining and the oil industry. The level of industry in the regions rises with the achievement of production goals and a certain number of personnel.

• New buildings and structures
New industrial buildings include mining enterprises, storage facilities, processing and auxiliary buildings, industrial properties and industrial roads. Unique factories, such as a food factory, a children´s toy factory, a furniture factory, a car factory and an electronic factory, produce consumer goods and require a large number of workers, raw materials, water and electricity.

• Supplies
Manage traffic and logistics through warehouse facilities and new cargo transportation systems, including a cargo airport.

• City post office
Improve the well-being of your residents by providing delivery and mail collection services. Sorting centers process correspondence brought by mail vans and trucks from other cities.

• New policies
Three new industrial policies and four city-wide policies affecting unions, mail sorting, toll points, Wi-Fi, logistics, work safety, and automation.

• Five new cards
These new maps are rich in natural resources, allow for many options for transporting goods and provide favorable opportunities for the development of industry.
