And during the tournaments you will meet new characters, in a conversation with which you will have to make decisions that affect the fate of the whole world.

You play as Finn, a young man whose only chance to prevent a neighboring country from attacking his home is to master a special card game. It is used by enemies to teach the aristocrats the art of warfare, and is called the Way. Infiltrate the tournaments they host and get close to the elite commanders. What to do in case of success is up to you. Just remember - your decisions have consequences!

The basic gameplay is deceptively simple: each turn, you can play one character and support card, and then all your units will rush to the enemy and attack - if they can! But the real challenge lies in choosing combinations, building your own deck, and which cards to hold until the right moment. These rules apply to your opponents as well... In most cases. Each battle has its own rules and features that can be turned to your advantage if you build your deck correctly!

Warriors range from powerful frontline fighters to vulnerable shooters and support characters. Equipment cards strengthen warriors on the battlefield, while spells help them or weaken the enemy. There is no set strategy in this game - assemble a deck of powerful and well-protected fighters with healing abilities to bring down enemies, charge into battle with archers who deal significant damage and bandits who know a lot about poisons to crush enemy warriors before they can come to your senses, and much more. With such a huge selection of cards, the number of possible combinations is innumerable.

Each battle in Ash of Gods: The Way is a carefully crafted challenge with specific targets and opponents. Whether you´re capturing control points, defending your commander from a deadly warrior, or fighting a series of duels, you´ll need all your cunning to win. The outcome of every battle matters!

Turn every little thing to your advantage. Traps are waiting for you, which can be both dangerous and open new opportunities, depending on your strategy and powerful runes that can completely change the course of the battle!

Your deck in Ash of Gods: The Way is made up of a combination of character and support cards. Characters fight in battles, and support cards empower them or cast powerful spells. Both those and other cards can be improved by making them more powerful. And some characters can even gain completely new skills, such as sneaky counterattacks or armor-piercing strikes.
